About Course

This course aims to see if I can implement everything in Tutor LMS that I know I can implement in Moodle.  There are eight things that I tried to implement in Tutor LMS they were: (My results are indicated in brackets.)

  1. Display text.  (Yes, I could)
  2. Display images. Yes, I could)
  3. Display video from YouTube. (Yes I could)
  4. Embed some Web content – say the Phet interactivity from a previous video – in an Iframe.  (Yes I could by putting the relevant Phet URL in an I frame – see the section below.)
  5. Provide a quiz. (Yes, I could, but limited in the basic version of Tutor LMS the premium versions have more ample quizzing facilities)
  6. Issue a badge for passing the quiz. (No, I could not. The Basic version does not allow for it.)
  7. Engage with students via a forum.  (No, I could not. The Basic version does not allow for it.)
  8. Engage with Students via an online interactivity like Jamboard. (Jamboard is on its way out, so I tried – and succeeded with an online interactivity with the help of Google Slides.)
